MAAKOLAM 02

    Maakolam is a kolam made with diluted rice paste.  Maakolams are usually drawn indoor as they cannot be drawn on mud floor.  This is a tranditional and age old  type of drawing kolams.  Maakolams are being drawn even today as a must for all auspicious occasions like Varalakshmi Pooja, Krishna Jayanthi or Janmashtami and so on.
